2,071 words. I’m debating the idea of doing NaNoWriMo this year, but I’m not sure if I might burn out on that much additional writing. Any thoughts?

I think it’s a brilliant idea if you can put everything else on hold, but in general I think it’s better to write consistently. Of course, saying that I haven’t touched my manuscript for over a month… but I generally allocate a set amount of time each day to write.
I have toyed with the idea of Nano myself (since this is the first year I was aware of its existence) but I decided that taking time out of the revisions I’m working on would be a bad idea.

Next year, though… Oh, it’s on.

I’ve also considered taking the Nano plunge! Have you heard of NaNoEdMo? I think if I did Nano I’d want to do that afterwards, too.
Best of luck to you!
