I try to avoid mentioning my age (which is why my graduation year is conspicuously missing from my resume, I just say that I graduated with honors with a BS), but sometimes editors ask. Now that I'm in my mid-twenties, though, I don't feel quite as green as I did a few years ago. I can totally relate to this one! You're right that hard work can overcome even the 'disability' of youth. In fact, on occasion, youth coupled with professional attitude and good writing is more impressive than age and experience with the same accomplishments. At the same time, I too have received rejections based entirely on my perceived inability to provide good content because of my youth... Still, we must keep plugging away! Interesting article.
