Setting Goals for 2009
As I said last week, I’ve been developing a couple of side projects that I’m pretty hopeful about. I think that they have a lot of potential — but they’ll require a lot of work from me, as well. It’s a little harder to do what needs to be done for each of my projects because there isn’t a set due date — I’ve gotten used to meeting external deadlines.
Instead of worrying about it, however, I’ve set myself some goals that I think I can meet. I’d like to share the goals I have set for this site in particular. If you see me slacking, feel free to call me on it.
Before the end of January, 2009 I plan to have an ebook to share with all of you. I’ve been working on this particular ebook for a little while, but I need to wrap up some lose ends before I tell you the top secret title. I’m also planning to do a few more series of posts, like the series I did last year on copyright. If you’ve got any ideas for topics, please let me know.
What are your goals for 2009? Do you have any business or marketing goals, or are yours all related to writing?

Great post. I finally started an official business. It’s all side-project right now, but I feel like 2009 will be the year I build and do some great writing and make great connections.
I’m looking forward to your suspenseful updates!

Seems 2009 will be the year of the ebook since I’ve read that goal in many end of year posts
Good luck with your goals, I’ve posted mine online as well at http://www.improvingtheweb.com
