@Anne, I’ve used FriendFeed a little myself. One of my concerns was that there just weren’t as many prospective clients for me on the site — though if your niche is social media and technology, it can be a pretty good choice. It’s an issue that shows up with Twitter to a certain extent: a lot of publishers and editors have embraced it, but if you work more with copy writing clients, they’re less likely to be involved in Twitter.

@Kathryn, Glad to help — I see so many writers trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to social networking. If I can make it a little easier, I’d like to.

I use FriendFeed. There seems to be the same demographic utilizing it as there is on Twitter (older crowd as opposed to youngsters). LinkedIn, FaceBook and Twitter are my other SN playgrounds as well, though, time to do any in-depth networking on any of these sites are really an issue for me.
